My new life

Thanks friends. Told myself not to cry on the 8th but I broke my promise. And yet again, I broke my promise for the second time today.

Sorry, for not able to spend longer time with you guys on the 8th cos there were lots of hiccups when I was trying to check-in. To Eve and KK, your presents are with me. I've managed to stuff them into my sister's luggage. And I paid 100 plus for excess baggage. Damn it.

Anyways, I'm here now in my new home. It's in town and I feel like I'm staying at Orchard road. Heh. It's just a 10 mins walk to Melbourne Central. Woohoo.... It's near to school too! If I'm lazy, there's a free city tram which kinda stops in front of my school.

Pace is slow here, slower than that in Singapore. Well, except for that in a supermart. I love Safe way, Coles and Big W. I love Home Brand. Heee... I've went to the supermart 7 days a week. My favourite hangout place. =)

My roommate aka my colleague (Farah) is complaining that she's bored. Yes, I am too. Nothing to do cos I've toured Melbourne with my sister for the past few days. How I wish I can surf the net as long as I want, watch all my favourite videos on youtube and tudou. But, NO! Internet sucks here. They limit the download and upload usage. So no illegal downloading is allowed. Zzzz.. So for your guys back in the little red dot. Please don't complain that the net is slow and start loving Starhub or Singtel or M1. I've gotten a 10GB plan per month. Not sure if it's enough for me though. =X I'm crossing my fingers.

Oh yea... so with the limited usage, I'm trying not to view too many photos on facebook or even refrain from uploading huge ass pictures. Unless I go to school, I won't be able to post pictures online. Anyway, my sis took back the digi cam and all the pictures that I took are inside. Too bad. Sigh.

Did I mention that my house is on the second floor? It has a cute little balcony. At some nights, we can see horse carriages pass by. Cool right?

I gues that's all I've got to say now. Take care!
